What We Are Doing

We are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our activities, preventing pollution and promoting the sustainability of the natural resources upon which we depend, while providing quality services to support the individuals in our care. We are working on integrating these concepts into our business plans in the short- and long-term future. Essentially, we are striving to make all of our decisions environmentally, socially and fiscally responsible.

Business Operations

We will consider new business streams that will contribute to a more sustainable operation, e.g., growing produce for use in Niagara.
We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and governance practices by conducting business in an open, honest and ethical manner, while maintaining client confidentiality at all times.

Sustainable Consumption

We will make efficient use of natural resources including energy, land and water, and will look for ways to minimize their use.
We are committed to continually reducing our production of harmful pollution such as emissions from vehicles and lawnmowers.
We will promote conscious consumption by educating our employees and other stakeholders, and encouraging them to make well-informed decisions about purchasing products and services that contribute to a sustainable future.
We will look for ethical (fair-trade) and environmentally-friendly options when sourcing products for our business.

In the Community

We will consider our impact on the local community when making decisions.
We aim to work with local suppliers whenever possible, thereby economically benefiting our community.
We will create and strengthen partnerships with likeminded organizations to further our overall positive impact in our community. Additionally, we will support new and existing community initiatives that align with our beliefs and strategic priorities.
