MEMBERSHIP


Membership and partnership are integral components of whom this agency represents and of our place in this community. It is our belief that membership signals support and provides us with the strength to accomplish our goals.

We care very much about building a caring community with services for persons with special needs that are strong, that embrace all people and families, that have inclusive schools, and employment with purpose and meaning.

We need committed members with a shared vision of services and supports. Building healthy, inclusive community services for people with a disability begins with building a healthy and informed membership enterprise. In moving beyond the realities of today, in working towards offering the highest quality services possible in the future, and in discovering how we can do this together, membership and partnership will play a powerful role.

Our current membership categories are:

Voting Categories:

  1. Individual - $8.00 (one adult membership)
  2. Family - $10.00 (one or more adults residing in the same household)
  3. Corporate - $15.00
  4. Patron - $50.00 and up (a donation receipt is issued for any amount $10 and over; for example, a donation receipt of $40 would be isssued for a $50 patron membership.)

Non-Voting* Categories:

  1. Associate - $5.00 (person in the employ of, or receiving services from this or any other association serving persons who have a developmental disability)
  2. Junior Associate - $5.00 (child 10 to 17 years of age of a voting or non-voting adult member)

*Non-voting members will be accorded all of the rights and privileges except those of voting, serving on the Board of Directors, or becoming an Officer of the Corporation.
